Author of The Tao of Piercing

Traditional Oriental Medicine is Jeanne Elizabeth Blum's field. She specializes in Auricular Therapy, treating the entire body through 365 points on the outer ears. Clairvoyant since childhood, able to access both the past and the future, she was also trained as a Medical Intuitive by Norman Shealy, M.D., and Caroline Myss, Ph.D. She has had healing centers in both Bermuda and Hawaii and now sees clients in Los Angeles, New York and Greece, and is the author of the critically acclaimed book Woman Heal Thyself (Tuttle, Boston 1995). A significant article on Blum's auricular therapy success curing migraine headaches, written by Patricia Bosworth, appeared in the February 1996 Self magazine.

Blum has appeared on numerous TV and radio shows in the USA, Europe and the UK, especially on her work with infertile couples who now have children. She lectures all over the world and is considered a pioneer in Chinese Medicine, holding a Patent for the Forbidden Pregnancy Points System. She has a deep understanding of ancient genetics and inherited disease as well as chi blockages causing infertility in both men and women.

For fifteen years Jeanne Elizabeth Blum has investigated the ancient history of body piercing as a means to enhance health, based once again on the principles of Traditional Oriental Medicine, and in fact credits the piercing of her ear thyroid points with helping to keep her alive after a thyroidectomy.
